Volunteers Needed

FPYC is a completely volunteer based organization. We are in need of Volunteers to help Coach and run our Leagues. This year FPYC Basketball is offering a COUPON to qualified and accepted Volunteers  to coach or direct a league. We are offering a $50 credit towards a player registration fee. If you are interested in volunteering or know someone who is please have them contact Ryan Muniz Director Of FPYC Basketball at basketball@fpycsports.com. Please note that you must register to volunteer first to receive the coupon code before registering a player. All volunteer coaches who work directly with our youth players will be required to go through a voluntary back ground check.

Evaluations

Evaluations are not a tryout. All players must be evaluated. Evaluations are a key component to making our league fun, fair and competitive. Player evaluations for the house leagues will take place on Sunday November 9th 2025 and you can view the evaluation schedule for all of the house leagues on the house evaluation page once we get our gym space finalized. Once a player has registered, whether via the Registration page on this website or at the Clubhouse, IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR THE DATE OF THE EVALUATION SESSION FOR YOUR LEAGUE. The evaluation session enables all of the coaches for the league in question to observe the players’ abilities so that they can be chosen in a draft later in November. Players who attend the evaluation session for their league after registering at the Clubhouse or via the Registration page on this website are guaranteed a spot on a team. Players who fail to attend the evaluation session will still have to be evaluated by the League Director at the League Director’s convenience and might have to be placed on a waiting list.

Code of Conduct

Finally, please always remember that this is a family/community league. We expect parents to cheer for both teams at every game (this includes the select teams) and behave like responsible adults/fans. We expect coaches to set the example and to manage their parents at each game.

Any disrespectful behavior to referees, players, coaches, or other parents will result in your removal from the gym, which will most likely result in your being banned from attending any further games or practices for the rest of the season. Lets remember how important good sportsmanship is to FPYC.

See you on the courts!
